Happy leap year

Here is a cute video. Bryan keeps asking me if I've posted it yet so it must be good. Sometimes the simplest things are the very best toys.

She keeps teasing us with some more teeth that are ready to pop out, but no progress yet. Bryan says that's okay because she'll look funny with teeth... I think she'll just manage to be a little cuter! I think she'll be a biter, though. Right now its just funny if she bites; we're not used to her having teeth in there. She is becoming a cheerio vaccuum. Sometimes she eats Cheerios that have been "lost" in the house. She was eating one in the living room the other day; it really scared me, I didn't know what she had gotten into.

Here are some more pictures:

Three Little Teethies

Wow, time flies when you're having "fun". Carolyn's third tooth officially broke through last night. This time it is a top front tooth, so it was especially painful and tough to deal with. She shakes her head like she is adamantly saying no... the ladies at her daycare say that she is "just saying no to teeth." I feel bad that she is in pain, but on the other hand she is really funny now that she is learning to use them. She is getting really good at putting Cheerios in her mouth and biting them in half.

She got a balloon for Valentines Day and was very obsessed with it for awhile. We had to hide it so she could fall asleep at night!

Happy Chinese New Year!

The Chinese are celebrating the start of the year 4706 today. It is the year of the rat. According to some website that means that Carolyn and I will have an average year (we are boars), but Bryan (a dog) is going to have the BEST year EVER! I'm jealous. I also found out that our chinese zodiac signs are incredibly accurate... they said that boars like food. Can it get any more accurate than that?

Toother Bowl

Someone got her first tooth on Sunday. However I strongly advise against trying to look at it... she gets very angry when you get close to her mouth or nose. I think its because her nose must feel like mine right now. Times like this always make me philosophical, pondering the important things in life like: does the Wii have an option for a red nose?

So Far So Good

A few new updates on the munchkin:

She at a piece of cereal today, so get the cheerios ready! Actually now I'm kind of uneasy because I just realized that I don't know when she SHOULD start eating cereal so I have to google it. Last night she had swimming lessons and and PUT her HEAD UNDER WATER! She is by far the bravest little baby ever. She also floated around in a little baby floatation vest growling and grunting. It reminded me of the otters you see on the animal shows, especially since she was playing with a little toy on her stomach. We had a waterproof camera that we brought into the pool, so hopefully those pictures turn out.

And NOW for the pictures!

This last one is an special picture from Bryan for his parents (he assured me you'd understand).
